Naari: The Marathon

VOLUNTEERS ADRESSING THE MARATHON

On 14th April 2013 A marathon was organized by YUVAA, A group of Several Institutions combined in association with our group CYCLE ON CYCLE. The main motive of the Event was to create awareness regarding Women Equality and Empowerment. Around 1000+ participants guided by around 100 volunteers participated willingly in the event. The participants covered a distance of around 7.8 kilometers and spread the message of women empowerment.

The program was well volunteered by the students of GRAPHIC ERA UNIVERSITY and many arising talents from UPES gave awesome performances that won all hearts...

GRAPHIC ERA UNIVERSITY rocked as it won the 2nd and 3rd Prize consecutively and the volunteers from GEU helped a lot in the event's success...

Great management and well balanced piece of work by all the volunteers.

The day was great as we worked together as a team. We got to meet and know a special person Jodie Underhill. She is the FOUNDER/CEO of a well known organization called as WASTE WARRIORS.. We got to know that what's the real meaning of patience and  worked together and learned a lot from her... Hoping to officially work with her soon....
